The latest local sports sponsorship undertaken by KMK Metals Recycling is for a talented local 10-year-old boy, Arthur Wellington, who has shown a lot of promise in karting, despite only taking up the sport one year ago.
Since starting out, Arthur, from Mountbolus, has progressed each time he tests and races, improving his lap time and overall performance.
At present, he is being coached and managed by Sean Spratt of Spratt racing, a Meath-based racing team.
Arthur has just completed the last leg of Leinster Winter Championships finishing 4th last Sunday, 5th March and is now awaiting confirmation of his ranking for the full season.
He is now in preparation for the start of Leinster Summer Championships beginning April 3rd. In the meantime, he will continue testing in preparation.
Arthur joins boxer Grainne Walsh, cyclist Ellen McDermott, Cappincur GAA club, Tullamore Ladies Gaelic Football club and Spartacus Boxing Club, as part of KMK Metals Recycling’s local sponsorship portfolio.
