KMK Metals Recycling was proud to join Dotser and Long Haul Commercials in supporting the Tullamore Tidy Towns entry in the 2023 St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which was chosen as the overall winning float.
The theme of this year’s 40th anniversary parade was a celebration of Tidy Towns and Margaret Naughton and her crew designed an amazing float recreating a fantasy garden with larger than life flora and fauna, colourful insects, animals, and natural surroundings, highlighting the importance of biodiversity and nature in the local community.
Tidy Towns is built on developing sustainable communities and the Tullamore Tidy Towns group embraces the 17 sustainable goals to help achieve an inclusive sustainable environment with respect for all.
Tullamore Tidy Towns was honoured by the St. Patrick's Day committee for highlighting the key themes of Tidy Towns - not only nature and biodiversity, but the importance of our built heritage, tidiness and litter control, landscape and open spaces and making people more aware of climate action and recycling initiatives.
KMK Metals Recycling was happy to provide financial support to Tullamore Tidy Towns, especially with such a relevant theme for this year’s parade.
