KMK Metals Recycling is delighted to have successfully passed its WEEELABEX surveillance audits that took place in November 2019 at KMK Tullamore and KMK Kilbeggan. KMK remain fully certified as a Type 1 and Type 2 operator for Mixed Equipment, Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) display appliances and Flat Panel Display (FPD) equipment.
WEEELABEX is a set of standards relating to the collection, sorting, storage, transportation, preparation for re-use, treatment, processing and disposal of all kinds of WEEE in Europe. The attainment of WEEELABEX for operators treating WEEE is mandated through the national WEEE Regulations S.I. No. 149 of 2014.
